John, when I get paint matched and am not satisfied, my paint supply tries to make it right. I have them make changes as needed to get it right. have you tried that or are they not supportive?

I have been dealing with them for years, and they are working on the paint to get it right it would just be a lot nicer and faster if we had the formula for DBC. I know someone has correct formula.

I wish I had a panel painted that color, but all I have for the Aqua Green is the little paint chip in the model A paint guide and it is to small to shoot. the gray green I barrowed paint from a friend and painted a panel so I might have that color covered,

Here is a link to a web site for paint codes.

Go to the web site and put in the Make of your car in the block STEP 1, and patiently wait, then in Step 2 pull down the year and select the year of the car. Be patient again!

When the page displays keep your mouse on the LH side of the page. If you move to RH side everything becomes too small to read. If you are on the RH side to refresh click on the page you want page 1 text or page 2 color codes

This is the link to the paint codes for a 1931 Ford as a result of putting in data as described above.

Ford Color Schedule DITZ-LAC Intermix System

just got this from our local parts house Westbay Auto Parts here in Port Orchard WA

If you are having a problem getting a formula call the color library in Strongsville Ohio and ask them to make up the correct formula. That way we will all have it in the PPG computer for future reference. I have sent them the MAFCA color book so they know about our issues already but until we ask they will not do anything to make new formulas in concept Just ask and they will do it for us, 440-572-2800
