1931 Cabriolet Seat (Original or Not)
Sorry to bother you guys , but I need an answer and don't know where to go. I am going over my Car and under 3 layers of seat covers I find what I thought was the original Front seat , so I ask around including L/B , and no one seems to know for sure. The history of the Car is that is was never restored , but 'gone over' in the 1950's. From what I gather in the Model A files, these front seats have 13 'pipes' , I guess that means 'Ribs' , and mine has 14. Could this Seat have been made by a local Upholstery shop. It is the correct Bedford Cord style material , and Lebaron Bonney was not in business in the 1950's as far as I can determine. I do not want to trash the Seat if it is original. Can anyone tell me if it appears to be original ? Many thanks.

RG&JS page 12-27 revised 2016 see attached
FWIW In my terminology "pipes refer to the number of pleats, not the number of stitched seams"
