Seat belts again!
I have been through all of the threads and articles but still not sure about where the bolts go on the 29 coupe which has the wood on top of the metal seat pan. Do you place them below the wood top, through the wood top or through the sheet metal above the wood that curves into the rumble seat area. That metal does not seem very thick? I have the reinforcement L bar to back up the sheet metal or wood. It does not seem like the wood is a good idea. I will not be doing any fast highway driving just backroads and I just want to stay in the car in case I or someone else does something stupid!!

I put mine through the curved sheet metal piece you describe. On the trunk/rumble side I used a piece of 1" angle iron. It would take a hell of an accident to pull that angle iron through the seat pan and at that point I think you would have other issues. I think this is the best attachment point in a coupe. Now if I could just figure out a good way to put them in a Vicky!
