Default Craigslist ad, NOT MODEL A, but echoes a lot of our feelings.

A buddy sent me this Craigslist ad, he said it looked like something I would write, in fact some lines are reminiscent of ads I have posted in the past.

Good chuckle....

The seller had a lot of fun writing this ad: it'll be passed around car buffs for years!

If it had the rocket engine and three on the tree , It would be much more desirable. With the chevy engine, I wouldn't give it a second thought.

Me too, ....especially those last two lines!! I wish someone would have written it as the answer to this: http://fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=125525 as it seems like the most fitting answer to that thread!!

He is selling an image just like any TV or magazine ad.

I also think that it could help eliminate those who would not be able to take care of a car.

I really liked the inserting of a (low ball price)!

I agree, it would have been a very nice original car.

I like the guys attitude and the car. He left two things out of people who shouldn't own the car, ones who wear their caps on side ways and have to walk with their legs so far apart to keep their pants from falling off.

I agree. I thought the pants were falling down because they dropped a load.

The one good thing about the saggy pants is it makes it hard for them to run away from the police.

Makes me miss my '57 super 88. I'd buy him a beer if I could too.
