My 33 is a pleasure to drive. I did put a overdrive in it. I have a columbia rear end to put in it. Maybe this fall.The roof was filled in when I got it. Anyway I still love it.It very solid and rattle free.

I would love to but this car is more of a project then it looks This is how it looked when I bought it a few months back. The pics of it are from the next day when I got it home...has a few rubber snubbers and C-clamps holding it together!!

Chris: That DOES make a difference... BTW my Avatar photo is my roadster back in 1958 when it was stored in a PIG SHED in Utah. It was brought to California maybe in the 1970's and I bought it in 1981. It sat in storage and in my shop until 2003 when I stuck a motor in it and drove it for Fathers Day, then built a new chassis during 2004 and switched the body the day before the PRC Reliability Run in October of that year. It has been alot of fun, hence my
advice...

Our 34 5 window driven by Ron Tilley was the track champion at Silver Spring Speedway in Mechanicsburg PA in 1957 & 1958. Also the car that won the most races in one season ever at that track, 11.

here's my '34, underconstruction, but a driver with 11,000 miles.
this weekend im working on dialing in the timing, then regulating the fuel pump, just tested it and its putting out 6 psi or my fuel pump tester dosent work.

I have a 34 5w that my dad bought in the late 50s to make into a hot rod. He started working on it when he retired then I bought it. It still need a lot of work. I love the sound of the flathead. He could not get it to start reliably but I did when I but in smaller power values in the carbs and made the gasket surfaces flat.

Its going to be an early styled hot rod....I would love to own a stock Model 40 but thats only if I hit the lotto!! hahaha

Does mine count. It is a 33 truck with a 34 car chassie. It is a great driver with the 21 stud flathead and 3 speed trans. They shortned the frame and bobbed the rear bed down. I put 19 inch wires off a 30 model a and got 475/500 on front and 700 on rear. Dont know if i will do much to it because i drive it alot and dont want any down time with it.

I don't have a 34 but I'm hoping this will be my next car . I do have a stable of two 1930 Model A's, a 1910 hupmobile and a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine The 34 ticks all the boxes for me in terms of looks . Unfortunately the numbers of original 34's in New Zealand is very limited. I,ve got a 33 tudor Thats been on the road for 18 years, its been to 44 of the lower states, British Columbia and will get the other 4 states this fall. Also going on the street rodder tour from Kalamazoo, Mi. thru Canada to Berlington, Vt. We need to go to Delaware, South Carolina, Florida and Alabama. After that it,s on to New Orleans, Texas Motor Speedway and on home in Sacramento, Calf. Hope to see some of yopu on the road.

I have had my 33 for some 20 years or so. I not really sure when I got it. I traded a 55 Chevy for it.A friend like my Chevy and said he would like to have it. I like his 33 so we traded on the spot.I never looked back.I put a overdrive in it and had it repainted.Put new tires on it a couple of years ago.Its a good solid car and no rattles either.I drive it on tours and do enjoy it very much.Wife says we will never sell it.I do agree with her.It had a rumble seat and wish it had a trunk instead.That my only complaint with the 33.

Here is 'Out-of-Africa', which came as a partial basket-case, and I've had since 06. I collected a few parts, & procrastinated until July of this year. From July through Sept, I put it together, and made it 'road-ready'. First of Oct was the first time it operated on US roads, and it has completed a 600-mile trip. Really runs & drives nice !! I've had my fun, and Now it's ready and 'available' for someone else to either enjoy, or restore.

Randy, my engine doesn't leak that badly only a few drops, however if you were to lay on that carpet and look up under my car you would see a piece of fabric tie strapped on from the transmission to the oil pan to catch any "potential drips" plus I had the car on the hoist before the event and spent a few hours cleaning the bottom of the car. There was a Model T next to me and they had a tarp on the carpet from the front to the back of the car.

Here's one of my '33. It was an 8 year project, all original steel, right down to the bumpers and brackets. It's been on the road for over 13 years now, got 72,000 on it. This picture was taken at Deuce Days in Victoria, B.C., last summer. I've always loved '33's and '37's.

I'm a "Gal" but have a Model 40. All my cars have names and her name her Roady. I found a near mint 34 Arizona plate for her so she's now titled and insured in Arizona. The issue with her conking out on the freeway is still unresolved so plans to drive her home to Tucson are on hold. Without AC it now won't be until September. Roady is stock so not sure how well she'll do in 100 degree weather A new garage is waiting for her arrival along with some older relatives, a 1930 Ford Cabiolet and 1930 Victoria. Bonnie

Here's my '33 standard Fordor. Bought it along with a '34 as a basket case in 2002. Started working on it in late 2004 and finished it in May of 2007. Pretty much my daily driver in the spring, summer and fall. I have driven it from coast to coast, and I live in the middle of the country. In the 4 years I've been driving it, I've put 54,000 miles on it.

Thank you, I cannot take any credit for this one. It came from a collection in Montana. It's bone stock and runs well.I have to repair a transmission leak, rebuild the front suspension, and so a few small things to it. I have been looking for a roadster for many years.

59AB with a Merc crank, 39 trans, stock rear with 3.54's, juice brakes...pretty typical early hot rod stuff. The 33-34 Ford is my most favorite car.

My avatar is my 3 window '34. It is now in full primer and this week the doors will be re-fitted. Fenders to follow.
ALL that rust is gone. What a job that was!! The chassis is also done and waiting for the paint which is still at best, a month away. Trying to find a competent shop to re-do the dash as original. The gauges are at Williamson's being restored.
Will be selling the original 221 off and trans too. Decided to go for a new rebuilt flattie and trans.
Will also be selling off my 1953 Merc that was built as it would not fit the look of the car as I want it.
So many left over parts that I am replacing with cool NOS stuff I have been hoarding for years. The rest of all that stuff will also go some day. Just have to find a valid outlet besides Craigslist and their worthless tire kickers or eBag!
