Default '32-'35 hubcaps

Is there a way to tell the difference between originals and repops? I heard the repops have a blue tint to them? Is there anything else to look for?

Thanks

Default '32-'35 hubcaps

Just for the reference, this is the complete set of 32-35 Ford Hubcaps. The top row is 32 V8 on left, 32/33 Four cylinder in centre & 33 V8 on right. On the bottom row we have the 34 Four on left, 34 V8 in centre & 35 on right.
From what I have seen, the stampings on the Reproduction Hubcaps are not as definite as the originals.

I can tell you one thing, the inner part is not coated with anything and will rust away. I had a 35 repop on a wheel outside my shop. I checked it not too long ago, removed a bird nest then the hubcap. All of the innards were nothing but "crumbs"
of rust. I would advise painting the inside with some good rust inhibitor.

I have noticed that the rivet which holds the spring clip is installed from the outside on the originals. The repops from the inside.
