Default 160 B front door window trim

I have an early March 31 S/W and the Front door window garnish has 3 screws on the front inside edge and 2 screws on the glass side. I am helping a friend with a late 31 S/W 160 B and his front window trim has 2 screws on the inside edge and 2 screws on the glass side. Could the difference be early flat firewall vs. late indented firewall? Or is it Briggs vs. Murray? Has anyone ever noticed this before?
