Using origonal nuts and bolts

A few years ago Fleet Farm had them. They sell bulk hardware in bins, and most likely change suppliers from time to time, and I was really surprised to see them, so I bought a handful of each size. I should have bought more because after a month or so they were all gone, and the common smooth edge was back.
