Default 1937 ford pickup grill repair

I am straightening a grill panel that was damaged at the bottom where the fenders bolt together with the grill. Looks pretty good but was wondering what the distance between the fenders should be or how wide the grill is in this area.

Do you have the lower grill apron? Maybe called a shield. It bolted inside your grill down low and would pretty much match the dimension I think you are asking about. Apologies if I am not understanding your question.

On my truck the grill shell is 20-3/8" wide at the bottom where it meets the fenders.
