Ford changed the F-150 bolt circle beginning in 1997.
It was changed from 5.5" TO 5.31".
You Can't tell one from the other by the naked eye.

One more thing about identifying F-150 wheels is that in 1997 Ford
quit useing tapered lug nuts on the F-150, so if you see some
F-150 wheels that look like they might fit the 5.5" bolt circle, But
they are NOT tapered around the lug holes, then you just found the
'97-2003 wheels with the 5.31" bolt circle and Flat around the lug holes.
