Default 1930 Model A top

I am trying to figure out how much chop a 1930 Ford coupe has. Can someone give me a measurement of a corner of a windshield or door window opening in the center on a stock 30 standard coupe?

"I'm trying to figure out how much chop a 1930 Ford coupe has."
What do you mean by "how much chop"?

"Can someone give me a measurement of a corner of a windshield or door window opening in the center"
Measurement from where to where? Which corner? In the center of what?

The center of the door window opening. Standing on the outside of the car for the measurements. or the outside outer vertical edge of the windshield frame . It don't matter which corner. Left or right. This one measuring corner of w/s frame is about 12 1/4". The door window opening is about 10" vertically in the center.

OK...I get it.

You have a Model A coupe with a chopped top and you want to know how much it has been chopped.

You want a measurement from a stock car of either the vertical post of the windshield, OR of a door window from the center of the top of the window to the bottom of the glass.

I can get those measurements for you tomorrow if no one responds before then.

Yes...Either way. Measuring the vertical portion of the w/s frame on the outside next to the pillar also works. Car is supposed to be chopped 2 1/2" but I think closer to 3 1/2.

These from my tudor, but the windshield and doors are the same as a coupe. Measurements are from glass edge to glass edge.

Windshield is the same, but the doors are not.The window opening on a coupe is about 13-1/2,and the tudor is about 14-1/2. That is the measurement taken in the center of the window opening,as in Dick's picture. In 30-31 the coupe doors are all by themselves, and the 30-31 tudor and closed cab pickup are the same.
