Alternator Rebuild Kit
Found this kit on eBay to rebuild my Delco-Remy alternator as a 6V+. Works great in my A.

Re: Alternator Rebuild Kit
I just looked at that and chuckled. It used to be that the reason for installing an alternator was that you could be in any small town and get one from the local parts store. At that time, replacement parts for the A generator and the cut-out were junk. Now the quality of the replacement parts for the Model-A generator & cut-out are great and the GM alternators are obsolete. I'd bet that seller sells a lot of those kits because local sourcing is gone. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Alternator Rebuild Kit
A rebuilder that I did work for said that it was the best alternator ever made ---- cheap parts, easy to rebuild and lasted just long enough that you got repeat business, but long enough that they weren't pissed off
