Does anyone have any information on these horns, where they were made ?

General Industries Manufacturing was in Elyria, Ohio . G.I.M. , for short. My mother worked there in the 1940's , so I proudly have a G.I.M. Horn on our Model A . The factory was still standing until just a couple of years ago when a large fire destroyed it.
They made a lot of different items through the years, far more than I know of , but am certain early phonograph pieces and parts ( whole machines, also ) lots of auto related items, bicycle parts, etc. Elyria is located about a half hour west of Cleveland. |
