Default 37 pickup

scored a nice 37 ford pick up frame the other day does anyone know what cabs will interchange with this frame? just want to know if i can look for a few different years of cab that will bolt up. i like the 37 front end so will i have to stay with 37 cab to use a 37 front or will another cab work with the 37 front pieces. thanks for any info.

35-41 cabs will fit. Don't know about other sheet metal.

The 35-37 cabs will interchange on your 37 pickup frame. The mounting blocks for the cab are the same. The beds are not the same, with the 35/6 beds being a bit shorter than the 37 and having a different tailgate than the 37 as well as the 35/6 not having a brace above the center of the rear fender. The 35/6 hood tops will not work on the 37 due to the different cowl...I posted pictures on this site several months ago showing the hood top differences. The fenders are all pretty much the same 35-37 with some differences in early 35 that do not keep them from bolting up. The 37 inner fender panels are not the same as 35/6...different length and also different in the front If you are building a street rod you might try using a later cab, but the 38/9 cabs from what I remember do not have the same body molding lines as the 35-37 sheetmetal and I do not know from personal experience whether or not the cabs would be a simple interchange.
