1937 Ford Headlight Harness Routing
Does anyone have any pics of how the headlight / horn harness routes after it comes off the steering box. My car has what looks like a bolted harness clip to the top frame rail. Just not sure on exactly how it gets routed after it leaves the steering box.
Thanks Mike |

Know you are wanting photo, which I don't have, but is the routing diagram of any help? After looking at it, I would guess not!

Re: 1937 Ford Headlight Harness Routing
Still wondering if anyone has any info on how to route the headlight harness on my 1937 once it leaves the end of the steering box Looks like it might make sense for it to go between front cross member and frame and then across bottom of radiator. The part I am not sure about is at crossmember.
Thanks in advance Mike |

I have the same question. When I replaced my wiring harness, I routed it up over the x-member, on top of the frame. It seems an alternate (better) route could be between the x-member and frame where there is a reasonable gap that would allow the harness to be routed.

There should be two clips soldered to the bottom of the radiator that the wire loom goes along and gets clipped to. So, when looking down from the top of the radiator, you can see the wiring loom along the bottom edge of the radiator. Odds are, over time, that these clips got broken off.
