Rear Motor Mount Bolts
Just sorting out some bolts to install the rear motor mount to the flywheel housing . I have some that would do but are cross drilled for a lock wire and some plain.
Originally were they lock wired or with a lock washer . Just curious . John in lovely locked down Spring Weather Suffolk County England . |

Re: Rear Motor Mount Bolts
Per RG/JS, Sec 1-9,
"The heads of the bolts were safety wired in various ways with 18 gauge plain or raven finished wire." No mention of lock washers.... TallyHo |

Re: Rear Motor Mount Bolts
The rear engine mounts were bolted to flywheel housing with unfinished bolts AND lock washers and wired with 18 gauge wire which was plain or raven.
