Default 8BA PCV Grommet

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have a part number for a grommet that can be used to convert a 8BA draft tube to a PCV?

Browsing the parts store is not a option in the current Covid-19 world.

Thanks,

Chris

Chris The opening in the intake manifold for the road draft tube is smooth. For a grommet to work correctly a rib to hold it in place is needed. When I work on adding a PCV valve to the road draft tube hole what I do is machine an aluminum plug which now has an "O" ring located on the outer diameter. This "O" ring now provides the seal. The inner diameter hole in the aluminum plug is now machined to fit any standard small PCV grommet and related PCV.

Ronnie's way is the best, but not having a lathe, I used the following with a little modification:
Help! grommet #42052 Dorman #493-212 for GM engines from '68 - '95 (try 42054?)
Fram PCV #FV306
There's really not a lot of potential for air leakage around the grommet, some RTV will seal it.
