Default Simmons carburetor part need thread size

Gentlemen
Could someone post the thread size on the lower float bowl drain plug? This would be the hole below the float on the cast iron bowl.

Would anyone have an extra correct brass plug for sale? Would buy a cast iron Simmons bowl if it has the fitting with it.

Thanks in advance. Always give 100% except when donating blood.

It looks like a metric size, close to 6 mm.

I have a carb that I have been told is a Simmons but the tag on top of bowl is rusted or corroded and cannot read it. Looks like Zenith and has brass levers on it.

Has S in top casting where Z appears on Zenith

Has S below that in bottom casting,

Plug measures 6.09 MM across the threads, with dial indicator, and thread gauge says it is 0.8 pitch.

I do not have a metric bolt or tap or Die in that size to verify size.

The plug looks like a tall hex head with 6MM .8 threads and is made of steel.

Hope this helps ...
