A new car in the collection- thanks to 34fordy
I wanna thank Don (34fordy) on here. I am a sucker for 32-36 standard 4 doors. I complimented him on his car 3 or so years ago, and he mentioned he’d let me know if he ever decided to sell it and give me a shot at it. True to his word, last week he offered it to me and I couldn’t resist. I always liked his car as it’s unrestored and a little rough around the edges but a good car, perfect for a drive. He described it accurately and it arrived today, and even my wife and daughter approved! Heck I couldn’t resist going for a 20 mile drive today in it..
Thanks again to 34fordy! Between this and my newly acquired 36 delivery I have a couple new daily drivers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That sure looks nice with the black wheels, our 33 has cream wheels ,but I like the black ones,
The fordors are a great all round car. very user friendly. Lawrie |

I found the Best caretaker in the USA. I feel so fortunate that Michael and his girls will use and enjoy this old survivor. My sincerest thanks to Michael. I will sleep like a baby tonight. Respectfully, Don

That's a dandy little fleet. Like Don, many of us just want to know that our rides will find good homes after we need to pass them along.

My first early V-8 when i joined the V-8 Club in 1974 was a '33 fordor. It had a one time repaint , but still had the original interior. It was a great driver.

Re: A new car in the collection- thanks to 34fordy
I like the 36, bought one at an auctions in 1950 for $100 that had 18K miles on it. Plate on it wa 1042, and was in storage since. Care was like new, but the engine brined oil faster than you could put it in. changed ti engine, but sold it because the roof leaked. Wish I had it back.

Here are pictures of Michael & Jane's 1933 Ford Standard Fordor Sedan, taken in 2018 at Dearborn. Another lovely car. The new addition 1934 Ford Standard Fordor Sedan will be good company for this 1933 Ford. |

Re: A new car in the collection- thanks to 34fordy
Very Nice! My very first early Ford was a 1934 Fourdoor sedan - my Uncle brought it out to SoCal from South Dakota and had it in the driveway on the morning of my 15th birthday.
Heck, he did it as a complete surprise - you can imagine how excited I was! Then I got together with Joe Reath of Reath Automotive and he became one of my many flathead mentors. Acquired a 59L block from Kenz and Leslie out of Denver and built a 286 cubic inch flathead. I was drag racing it by the time I was 16 . . . and that is how the MADNESS started! Dean's 34, sorry about the time it took, busy day!!!!
As a side note, these were not large files, which is normally the issue. So, if you want to post photos in the future and they are the correct file size, several of us here on the Barn can walk you through the process. And, nice car! |

A new car in the collection- thanks to 34fordy
Thought I’d share a photo of another one I acquired a couple months ago. 36 coupe mostly original paint and original upholstery. Still the 34 is the most exciting for me.

I drool of any 33 or 34 they were just so sleek. My sons 34 came out of a chicken coop with a leaking roof original paint straw color rims. I'll see if I can load something in here. stay tuned

Very nice "ride" and 1934 was a great looking car(1933 as well). I am partial to '34 since I have one too.
