The Early Ford V8 Club Cross Country Tour Group is now in Fallon Nevada for the night. We will visit a restoration shop in the area tomorrow morning. Then head for Lake Tahoe. Can't even begin to tell folks how enjoyable this tour has been for me. Just a little over 3,000 miles on my odometer so far. My '35 fordor has been running very well since installing another distributor that I had to rebuild along the side of the road between Kearney and Kimball Nebraska. Stay tuned for updates with photos on the EFV8C/A website and Frank Miller's Cross Country Tour page on Facebook. I have no way of posting pictures here until maybe when I get to Tahoe or for sure when I get back home first week in July.

PS... it was 9:07 pm here when I posted this, not 12:07 am as it says above my Avatar picture

Lawrie Tell You what You and your wife fly in to Pittsburgh, Pa. and I will pick you up and you and your wife can drive one of my cars to the National meet. About 300 miles through the mountains to the National meet. Take your pick the 33,35,39, or the 50. How that. Treat you like a brother.

JM To bad I didn't know you were going to Fallon. Have a friend that has a ranch there. He had a 36 coupe when we were kids. G.M.

George, was it possibly Louis Cote? We visited his engine building, restoration shop, and Ford V8 car collection this morning. He has an unbelieveable collection of used and nos parts stored in many large buildings on his ranch. He said his first car was a '36 Ford 5w coupe and he has many '36's now. His place is only a couple miles outside of Fallon.
Most everyone on the cross country tour has now arrived in Lake Tahoe. It felt good to finally get here and not have any major problems.

John, My friends name is Bill Card, his ranch is close to the Fallon air base where the top guns train. He rents 250,000 acres from the government to graze his cattle.
I was up there, this is where the wild horses run. Wild country. G.M.

Wow, I love the '36 Jensen Ford, it looks like the one Clark Gable had. Excellent photos! Thanks for posting, looks like you are having fun.

Well, this is it, day one of the Grand Tour heading East. The group is split into two teams until we get to Wendover/Bonneville on day two. We will stay near the airport in Salt Lake City that night. It's been a very enjoyable trip so far. Met up with Trev, Marc, Matt, Brendan, and all of their lovely wives, Old Bill and his brother Charlie, Jeff/Verytangled, Don Rogers, Cecil and Kay, Willis T., Gary W., Bill Dorsey, Norm H., Ken Bounds, Marcus E. and many of the Fordbarner's whom I have sent parts to in recent times. I know I have missed mentioning many names. Also met many new friends while here. It has been a real blast and now we have the long trek back home. Stay tuned to Frank Miller's daily updates on the EFV8C/A and Facebook websites.
