Default 1939 rumble seat

Are the seat springs and the back rest springs for the rumble seat unique to the 39 convertible coupe or will other years fit?

I THINK 37 or 38 seats will work. G.M.

Per this thread: https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showth...=rumble+spring, The bottom spring fits 1937-39, the backrest spring is 1939 only.

I would check with Snyder's Antique Auto Parts.....they make new seat spring set-ups. The web site is very hard (for me, anyway) to find the seat springs for V8 cars...the Model A stuff is easy. I the search engine try putting in S-130 or S-131.....or better yet call them...they seem to be experts on seat springs for our cars.....good luck,....Matt in Alameda
