Can you identify this rear view mirror?
This is a pic of the rear view mirror on my late 31 150B Station Wagon. It isn’t like any mirror I’ve ever seen in the part catalogues or on fleabay. Does anyone recognize it or know if it is a commercial type that isn’t as often seen, or just a aftermarket replacement?

Re: Can you identify this rear view mirror?
Did the station wagon originally come with a rear view mirror? Mine didn't have one when I inherited it.

Re: Can you identify this rear view mirror?
Hmmm, I assume that they did. I don't know of any A or AA that didn't......
I'll have to look at and inlarge some of the original photo's and see what I find...... BTW I inherited mine also. My Grandfather bought it in 1939

Re: Can you identify this rear view mirror?
Judging by the spring-clips in the first photo ( edge-view ), it reminds me of an aftermarket "vanity mirror" designed to clip onto an interior flip-down sunvisor...

Re: Can you identify this rear view mirror?
31 Flamingo, no I haven’t but I guess that is the next step. I'll look for a MFG, or part # as well. I guess I was hoping for a quick "yes, that is the ultra-rare model!" lol
P.S., By all means, post a pic. I have seen several different kinds of rear views on the Woodies I have seen throughout the years. Here are a few......

Re: Can you identify this rear view mirror?
I looked through Lorin Sorensen's "Famous Ford Woodies" and do not see a factory installed rear view mirror until 1938. Ford styling had the split windshield in that year and the mirror was mounted to the w/s divider.

Re: Can you identify this rear view mirror?
Judging Standard 1928-1931 Station Wagons page C4 nice picture.
They did not have a inside rear view mirror. I think the rule was if it had a outside mirror NO inside mirror. (Trucks) |

Re: Can you identify this rear view mirror?
Thanks everyone. Joop I think that you are right. The third pic on the far right is of a woodie delivery, it looks all original and doesn’t have a rear view, but then again I don't think that they had much of a view out the back anyway. lol

Re: Can you identify this rear view mirror?
it appears as a larger mirror is cliped onto the original mirror
