Default 37 igniton lock cylinder removal

I need to remove the ignition lock cylinder on my 37 Tudor. I have located a great set of instructions here posted by Dick Spadaro.

https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showt...+lock+cylinder

My question is what position does the lock cylinder need to be in to slide it out? I don't have the key.

It does not matter. Once the pin is out, it will just slide out.
