Re: Leather seats
I've had excellent results through the years with Lexol.

Re: Leather seats
Lexol is a fine product available at most farm supply stores. Most certainly adequate for the typical leather interior.
I would suggest cleaning the surfaces prior to applying any conditioner. Lexol also makes a cleaner that is easy to use. I have found that heating the conditioner in a microwave oven for thirty seconds or so allows the conditioner to be applied easier, smoother and it soaks in better than when left at ambient temperature. There are better products but not as easily found and are much more expensive. I sincerely believe Lexol will satisfy your desire.

Re: Leather seats
I’ve been using leatherique for some years on car leather as well as leather on fine furniture. It’s a bit different, but i have been impressed by the results. In my opinion, it brings life back to leather better than anything else. It is also non oily, and will not make leather overly glossy or shiny.

Re: Leather seats
I only have 2 cars with leather, tuck & roll in my 32 roadster, and the stock seats in my 40 wagon. Like many, I use the Lexol products and the 19 year old leather in my roadster is maybe softer then when it was installed.

Re: Leather seats
In the good ole days of horse and buggies Saddle Soap and Neatsfoot oil was the stsndsrd, however, everything changes. Lexol is great for any leather product, upholstery, coats, shoes/boots, etc. Make sure you shake it well before use and use it sparingly. Don't let the directions on the container outsmart you.

Re: Leather seats
Another good cleaner/conditioner is the Meguire product for the purpose. Spray it on liberally, and allow to sit overnight. Then wipe away any excess with a clean towel.
