Default 1933/34 Cowl light part interchangability

Something I discovered many years back and do not know if many others are aware of but some parts on the late 30's early 40's Dodge Fargo cowl lights interchange with the 1933/34 Ford cowl lights.
The reflectors are identical, The rims are identical but made of brass and the lenses are very similar but for the exception of one line going across.
Anyone else aware of this?
