Default New to the forums.

I sure it already here somewhere. But with 2000 threads. 😳
Just want to say hi with my first post.
Just bought my first Modle A a few months ago.
It wasn’t running. So, not only had to get it running had to learn to drive it.
Absolutely love this car. Always wanted a Tudor but after started shopping for one became more attractive to
a coupe. Anyway just wanted to pop in and say Hi.
Thanks. Richard ps can I post a picture of my car?
And if so how?

Hi Richard. Welcome to the Barn. I use Flickr to post pictures but you can also attach a thumbnail. You can put a picture in your Avatar too.

There are also other ways but this is the two ways I post pictures.

Hi, Richard!

Welcome the the Barn and to the Model A Hobby.

You are right, driving these cars and trucks is a blast! And they're pretty easy to work on.

Feel free to contact me by email with any questions. I'm always happy to help.

Welcome to the Barn.

If you feel like it, how about a little history of the A and your purchase?

Also how are things for you and any issues/work done so far?

Do not be intimidated about the quantity of info. Try your best to search, and ask if needed. No need to be shy. If not familiar with As, best to ask.

Lots of us enjoy other's experiences just as much as the technical end of things.

Welcome to the barn Rich. You can 'go advanced' when you want to post and then click on the 'manage attachments' button. That will bring up another window that will allow you to attach pictures from your computer.

Speaking of pictures........we love them.

Thank you guys. I bought the car off Hemmings from a guy in Texas. Lucky had a friend live not for from there at all. He checked it out. I made a deal and had it shipped to California. It didn’t run. Seller though it was the carburetor. Didn’t take me long to figure out it needed a new distributor. Rebuilt the carburetor anyway. Thing runs like a 40hp top. Love driving it. It has a old restoration but still looks pretty good. I’ll try again to post pictures.
Thanks again.
