Who makes the best fiberglass fenders

Please, don't jump all over me for asking the question.... ! I have steel fronts, and even with all my skills and equipment at hand, I could not make these much better than "poor" examples at best. There is rehbar , threaded rod, washers and odd steel plates welded everywhere behind the old cracks.
I will end up keeping these for parts / sections for future repairs etc, but for now I'll take the cowards way out and just install fiberglass fronts and live with them. So, "who" in your opinions, makes the best fiberglass fronts?

I would recommend Westcott's, been around a looong time.


I had f/glass on my 31, people would come up (even other Aers), tap on them and say they don't make them like this anymore.

My experience with fiberglass is they too are not a direct fit right out of the box, but can be made to work. The biggest 'help' to these fenders is to grind the coarse finish underneath the fender to make them smoother, then apply a thin coat of body filler and high-build primer. Make them look like they are smooth underneath like steel fenders would.

I would suggest just going on CL and buying a pair. Glass is very out right now and darn cheap!
