Re: Ford Faithful Oiler...
I have one on one of my T's. They work great, much better than the oiler that attaches to the magneto plug. Send a lot of oil down to the front main. John

Chaffin's Garage is the manufacturer of the "new" Ford Faithful Oiler Kit.

Thanks for the input fellas, I will check out Chaffin's about that item. I need to order Glenn's Ruckstell book as that will be my next project for the 26.

If someone could post a picture, I would like to see how you routed your tubing from port to port, thanks. |

Re: Ford Faithful Oiler...
These are really good oilers. I suggest that you use the magnet with them.
I have two. The line follows the same rout on both. On one I used the copper tubing sent with the oiler and it was exactly the correct length. On the other (shown in the pictures), I used 1/4" pipe, tubing, and a screen filter. This is a fairly new rebuild and I want the filter to catch any fluff from the transmission bands. |

Re: Ford Faithful Oiler...
You can mount the hose anyplace as long as it's downhill to the footplate from the pickup. There really is not a specific place to mount it.
