Default Aftermarket brake drum

I bought this drum many years ago because it was near standard size, and the metal is thicker than an original drum--about 25% -----but it is the only one I have ever seen.

The dimples on the outside are on the inside too. ---I don'r know if they are an improvement or just dirt catching squeak starters.

There were many aftermarket companys making parts, some better, most worse than Ford parts

I have 4 of them on the car, they relined the inside of the drum, held with the rivits, then cut the heads off the inside. My rears are 10 and 15/16 inches inside diameter and the new shoes won't fit. Take a look at the back side and you should see a seam between the drum and the liner.

This drum is formed that way, there is a matching dimple inside the drum --it is a1 piece stamping ---no rivits or liner, it is at 12.010--15 ---a little out of round

12" That's 1" larger than the Model A. That is a strange looking drum and I've never seen one like it.
