Default 28 Roadster Rumble Seat

I have a 28 with a rumble seat and the back of the seat is not attached to the lid at the top. Does anyone have suggestions how I can correctly attach the seat back so it doesn't keep pulling away from the lid?

I've looked for rumble seat clips, fasteners, etc... and nothing.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

The deck lid should have a slot at the top of each corner for a short metal strap (that was welded on to the upper portion of the seat cushion) to drop in to; similarly there should be a similar metal strap that was attached to the lower part of the seat cushion with a drilled hole for a screw that tied the bottom of the seat cushion to the lower part of the deck lid. Absent these pieces on your seat cushion, I'm afraid that any other means of attachment would be a matter of trial and error. Hope this helps.

Dick is correct on this. I have had and still have the same problem. No matter how many times I put the top seat clip in the hole it eventually comes back out.
