Default TT Running again after 60 year rest!

4 days of work, valve job, carb rebuild, rewire, coil work...cleaned and fixed starter, changed oil, swap out head, rebuilt key switch, horn button, cleaned out Timmer,adj.valves. TT was put away in barn in 1952. Yesterday I got behind the wheel and moved her a little. Runs and starts on Bat and Mag!
The more I let her run,the better she gets! getting EZ to start. This is my first shot at starting/driving a T,this is fun!!

Most EXCELLENT! She'll loosen up; my bones would be pretty stiff after a 60 year nap too! Just an FYI tho... change the oil after an hour or so and be prepared to have the bands disintegrate, and if they do, will plug the internal (and external) oil line. Post lots of pics! ws

Will order a trans screen today. yesterday she fired up as soon as she turned over.
Did drive her around our dirt road and back her up in the yard...without stalling out!!!

Great work! You really did a lot.

The T I bought had not run since 1962. I replaced the carb, cleaned up the connections and cleaned and gapped the plugs and it started within 15 minutes.

That's the nicest thing you could do after it's 60 year rest!
Thanks for sharing the story with us.

Love it! It's great seeing a piece of mechanical history looking and working as it used to when new.
