Default Right or Left Tail Light Bracket?

Hello, Barners
I found a repop tail light bracket that appears to never have been mounted. But I'm not sure how to tell if it's a right -ie or a left -ie. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Default Re: Right or Left Tail Light Bracket?

MM,

1. Place fender mounting flange flat against a wall.
2. Face the same wall & look at the bracket.
3. If the tail light flange veers left, at an angle, it goes on the left fender, driver's side.
4. If the tail light flange veers right at an angle, it goes on the right fender, passenger's side.
5. If providing a passenger's side tail light, measure the distance from the top of the tail light to the floor on the driver's side & provide same measurement to top of tail light on passenger's side -- forget about the dimension from the floor to the fender bolt holes -- the eye will concentrate on level "tops" of tail lights.

Hope this helps.
