Trw
Just watching a TV program on the Apollo space program and the woman who was responsible or getting them down seemed to work for TRW.
I thought they only made car parts. Seems not. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRW_Inc. TRW automotive seemed to have something to do withthe 1928 Ford parking brakes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRW_Automotive |

Re: Trw
TRW was originally Hughes Aircraft in El Segundo making aircraft parts for Douglas Aircraft and research for the Air Force. It was bought out by Thompson-Ramo-Woolridge (TRW).
My roommate worked at TRW in the Early '60's in El Segundo. In the late 60's and early '70 TRW created a research facility in San Bernardino in support of Norton Air Force. They also transitioned into support of the NASA aerospace program. I think they are making auto suspension parts because of their early experience in making aircraft parts when they were Hughes Aircraft. David Serrano |

TRW along with Rocketdyne, General dynamics, North American Aviation, and many others helped develop the Apollo program. Last edited by rotorwrench; 07-16-2019 at 10:41 AM. |
