Nice solid looking straight truck. I have had wonderful luck with my 226. The 6 is great, just doesn't sound as good as the V8

Re: My almost free barn find F1
I love it. When I was about 16 years old I got a job working in a gas station. My dad had a '50 or '51 Ford panel truck which he cracked the block in and quit driving. I used to take it to the station and drain the GALLONS of hot water and oil out of it and refill the crankcase with used oil from our customer oil changes. Then drive it until it filled up with water again, then drain again... You get the picture. I can't remember what ever happened to that truck. Be nice to have it now.

My dad had a fully restored '58 Chrysler 300 that he would take to car shows. No one ever offered to buy it, you on the other hand, will be hammered by offers if you leave the dirt on it!! Lonnie |

Cody, one of your original pics after you pulled it from the barn looked like a dust storm was blowing off your roof. BTW, you look great for having been born in 1948. |
