Shift Tower Tip
I may be stating the obvious but be careful when changing your shift tower to be sure the forks grab both of the "collars" (you willl know what I mean) area in the gearbox. Car should be in neutral when you remove the tower, which allows for the gear movement needed - they are very slippery and it is really easy for the gear and collar to slide back on you. This happened to me yesterday, and while it only takes a few minutes to correct it is worth guiding the forks in place with your fingers if you can, till the last minute.
On a positive, always nice to get a look at the condition of the gears!
