you are making more progress than i am and i've got most of the original parts.

and as for that fuel tank, what did you do to prepare for ending corrosion and preserving the life of your fuel.
this comes to mind because your tank there appears to be what looks like someone had to have a peek in there and then decided to ditch intentions.

way to go with recycling .

As to the fuel tank I bought it the way it is from a guy who aborted a T Bucket project, we are gonna examine it and try to make it right. Truck Box almost Done!

Wow, I can't get over how similar your build story is to a good friend of mine's! We got split up at a swap meet about nine years ago, and when I saw him coming towards me, he had a cowl top and dash that he scored for $20(it even looked just like yours), I asked:"What on earth are ya gonna do with that?" Reply: " I'll do something with it or just hang it on the shop wall because it's cool. A few weeks go by and I drop in to see him, only to find a complete frame mocked up on jackstands! "Whoa, someone is ambitious!!!" Anyway, he totally hand built the cab around that $20 cowl and the following spring, this is what drove out of the shop:

Whoa! HE built an awesome car! Oddly enough I gave twenty bucks for my cowl top/dash also

Maybe "Model A Dash Rods" are an up and coming fad.

Good for you. My own project is an A tudor. The body was offered to the vintage car clubs and no-one wanted it because it was too much work. I spent six months on the body alone and still have some to go. Now that the body is looking respectable I'm getting flak from vintage car guys for building an AV8. There's a moral in there someplace......

This grill has what is the most AWESOME ornament I have ever seen!

Got a 302 Ford engine out of an F-150 to build for the project.
Also picked up the Headlamp buckets from the Terraplane I salvaged the grill from.

Ok I have been gone because we took a DIRECT hit from an F4 Tornado during the April 27th Outbreak. The Ghost AND my Mustang were hit hard and garage totally destroyed

A few months later have just now got the building rebuilt and The Ghost put back to pre Tornado condition

Hell of a year! But we are moving on! Next is to attach the front axle as planned before the disaster

Commenced attaching the front axle and got myself a rear end. Tie Rod is from a '50 F1 and I have ordered new ends for it.

How is this thread not locked? have you been to the HAMB,? not that your car is going to fit in there either but its a lot closer than here on a restoration site.
