Default C4 transmission in a 1953 Ford

Does anybody know of an automatic transmission, other than the C4,that will go behind a flathead and not have to change the floor pan?
This a stock 1953 Ford 6 volt And keep it 6 volt.

The AOD is a good choice, have used several. However, the adapter I used required the late 12 ford starter, I think. But the OD is greatuse a 4.10 rear with the 239.
