Default 1936 cabriolet windshield frame

When I took apart my windshield frame I had to drill out the screws.
I need a replace brackets that slide into the frame so that it can be screwed together. I’m not sure what they are called. Does anyone no where I can find them.thanks, Tony.

They are like 5/16" square bars about 2" long that can be made or Trautwein in NY who makes the repos might have them.Bob Drake has the little screws for $4 a set.Part number 3108A.

Don't know if I ever have seen any for sale. If the original piece is beyond repair; I make the frame pieces out of key stock and drill and tap to match the frame.

Now I don't know how a cab frame differs from a closed car frame; on the closed car frame, there is a slight sideways bend to the splice bars and the screws have a special head, be aware that the repop frame screws may be too long and will need to be shortened slightly.

Thank you Deuce, Thank you Rich. I guess I can drill and tap mine. I didn’t think of that.
I’ll check out drakes for the screws. Thanks again for your input.
