anybody no were the wires go to from inhibiter switch. they wernt there. doing rewire

Inhibitor switch = neutral safety switch? That goes from the back of the ignition switch start terminal to the NSS from there it goes to the solenoid.

Depending on the location of the battery under the hood the two larger 'battery' and 'starter' cables may be reversed, it doesn't matter.
However, the two smaller wires for 'S' and 'I' must be connected as shown.

'Start' power from the ignition switch routes from the 'start' position of the key switch, thru the NSS, then to the 'S' terminal of the solenoid.

If the starter is/was already working some of the original wiring may(?) still be in place and the connections for the neutral safety switch were bypassed / jumpered together under the dashboard somewhere.
