My 36 is hard to start...If I put gas into the carb it starts fine. Once it is running a restart is fine. I have a new line from the firewall to the fuel pump with a check valve to keep the line full....Recent points and plugs done also....Any suggestions...Jack

Maybe the power valve is no good...
