32 5 window
Few ? . New to this site . We have a coupe that has been in the family since the late 50's . Car sat for 15 years before getting it back out . Rebuilt the distributer carb and put in a new 6v fuel pump . Has a slight miss when going down the road was wondering fuel or timing ? Also replaced front spring because was cracked , car still has a lean in the back could be from sitting crooked for years or bad back leaf ? Real strong runing 8 though . Also put new tires all around so we can drive the wheels off it sure is fun to drive . Thanks in advance . Will try and get some pics up soon .

Re: 32 5 window
A possible cause of lean is a broken spring center bolt. The bolt can break, leaving the bottom portion to fall out and / or the top portion to bounce out. Once the head of the bolt is no longer in the hole at the center of the rear crossmember, the spring (or even the main leaf) is free to slide to one side or the other.

Re: 32 5 window
Having worked for a spring shop for 20 years, people forget that an oil leak on a spring will cause it to lay down faster on the oily side that a dry or rusty side.
