Default What is This? Not a Tire Pump.

Does anyone know what this might be. It's not a tire pump. I'm thinking some kind of storage container, such as for pills, etc. but I really don't know. Any ideas? Thanks

Yep, I'll bet you're right. It's been so long since I've even used a match that I never thought about that.

That's the first thing that I thought of when I saw the picture, but why would it be spring loaded unless the spring keeps tension on it so the top doesn't fall off? Don/WI

I have something like that to hold the registration on a boat.Half stainless and half brass. But,it is not spring loaded.I do have to push the two halves together a little and twist it to open it.

A couple years ago one of these was on ebay advertised as a "Model T Horn". He said he couldn't make it blow though.

That was the funniest thing I've seen on ebay.
