Default '54 front springs

Please excuse my ignorance here. I'm well versed in buying parts for my 32 but have just bought a '54 Customline and have no clue where to start with parts. The car currently has chopped front springs and I want to put a set of standard ones in. Where is the best place to buy? Although I am in the UK I would need them sent to NJ where we have a guy who ships stuff over to us. Thanks.

I just took a set of stock coils out of my 54, you can have them if you pay the shipping cost. May be you want new ones, I think these are original from a V8 car.

If it were my car, a set of Ford Aerostar springs would be going on there. They lower the car without affecting the ride, as they are a pogressive spring. Available at most auto supply stores. The Moog # is CC850 and are very reasonable in price. There is a thread about these on here, and also on the HAMB.

Thanks Parklane but I want to bring the front of the car back up. This was a modified car built in LA back in the seventies and then gradually modified further by a succession of owners after it had been shipped over here. I want to get it back to the stance it had back then.
