Fordor Sedan Production Guide
Is there somewhere a Fordor Sedan production guide which indicates when each of the 12 or so Fordor Sedans were introduced and their production period to when each one ended?
EXAMPLE: The 60A started production in May 1928 (I think?) and ended production at the end of 1928 or did it continue into 1929 and if so, just when did it end in 1929? Thanks. Pluck |

Re: Fordor Sedan Production Guide
If I may ride on Steve's coat tails for a moment... Is there a list of production numbers for fordor sedans? Specifically Town Sedans?
All the lists I have seen lump all the Town sedans together, counting Briggs and Murreys, 155A, B, C and D together. I would like to find out how many 1930 155D Town Sedans were built. Thanks, now back to the previous channel... Last edited by Y-Blockhead; 06-14-2017 at 10:21 AM. |

"dumb book" on the production of the Model A Ford...so be it. What I am looking for is a list of all the Model A Fords with four doors, and there were 17 of them, counting the 5 Town Sedans, that list their aproxament starting date and their aproxament ending date. I have started a chart taken from the the DeAngles book "The Ford Model A...As Henry Built It". It moight not be exact but it is as close as I can get. If any of you have done some reseach on this, would you please share the inmformation? Thanks. Pluck |

The ONLY way to possibably know is if there is some data at the Benson Ford Research Center on the subject OR if the records from the Briggs and Murray companies survived which I do not know. Pluck |

Re: Fordor Sedan Production Guide
From Data I collected, 60-A's were made from early May through the end of 1928. 60-B's were made from the beginning of 1929 through at least early May. 60-C's were made from March (possibly Feb.) through mid-July 1929. 170-A's were made in at least June & July of 1929. I'm always looking for more data to build on this from owners of these types of cars. Hope this helps.
