Default 48 ford f1 complete bed replacement

Has anyone replaced their bed assembly on a 48-50f1? I am looking for a new period correct entire bed and fenders,brand new.I have looked ate Dennis carpenter,Lmc,and alot of eBay listings.Some offer 19 gauge steel I never heard of.What suppliers have you purchased beds from that are acceptable? My bed is not original,alot of rust,any help would be great.

Try Mack Hils. Here's a link. http://mack-products.com/. I'm not sure if they assemble them though. Folks have complained about no instructions. I figure if a person has an old crapped out bed then they at least have one to go by for assembly. Ford used the same basic bed for a long time on 1/2 ton commercials & F1s. Fenders are another critter though. They would likely be stamped by someone else

I think Midwest got their equipment/dies from Northern Classic Truck which made some excellent beds.

The Mack Hils beds are very good quality and they are available
either knocked down or assembled. The knocked down version does not come with any assembly directions however.

Another vote for Mack Hils. I recommend buying it assembled. They assemble them just like a stock box and the quality is excellent.
