It is probably a good assumption that your friend is not doing a concours restoration and with that thought in mind he might look for a rebuilt aftermarket fuel pump from that era and save some money. Be sure that whatever he ends up with it has gaskets that are compatible with modern gas. Another good thing to know is that the best person for Model B engine parts is probably Dave Renner at Renner's Corner, (734) 428-8424.
