Default Rivets or screws?

Some of us were looking over our Model A's a few days ago and found something interesting.

The body styles involved were Roadsters, Standard Coupes, Special Coupes, Sport Coupes and Business Coupes.

What we were looking at is the attachment of the Center Floor Pan (where the seat bottom goes on a rumble seat build) to the bodies side frame rails left and right.

To attach the Center Floor Pan to the side frame rails, left and right, we were finding that there are two different ways of attachment...either with three (3) sheet metal screws, left and right; or three (3) rivets, left and right. The screws have a dome head with a slot on top and the rivets were stamped with a waffel stamping.

Most if not all bodies inspected were in original condition

Below is our findings so far...Can you add to the list?

Thanks.

Pluck

Can you assign the preference of screw/rivet to the couch builder (Murray/Briggs)?

Great question...Not sure yet...However most bodies in question were Ford built I think...Need lots more data from owners of original cars.
