Question After Market water pump

I'm looking for some info on a enclosed sealed water pump that I believe were an after market in the '30'sl It is entirely enclosed and has one fitting on the top. I have been running one on my coupe for years with no problems, but just installed another one on our pickup and it is leaking. I would like to know if anyone has every had one of these apart and how to replace the seal in it? Appreciate any help.

I have an aftermarket waterpump on my 1930 deluxe delivery. It is totally enclosed. It has 2 grease fittings. One for the front bearing and one for the chamber where the packing nut usually is. There is no packing nut. I pack that chamber with blue waterproof grease and use the same for the front fitting. It's been on the delivery for 5+ years and about 10-12 thousand miles. So far it hasn;t leaked a drop. I always carry a regular waterpump with me just in case. Last year, on a trip from Placerville to the Carson Valley For some reason I had two extra regular waterpumps with me. I sold both of them to Model Aers whose waterpumps had failed.

I had one apart several years ago and the seal set-up was of such I could not eadily find a replacement on-line. Naturally I could have found another type replacement seal and then machined this unit to accept it ....but if I were to go to that much trouble I would take the easier path and use what is already available to retrofit a stock pump.

If this is the pump it sounds like, take that the old seal to swimming pool
pump repair shop. That's where I found one for mine.
