Default Looking for history of this A Tudor

I bought this 1930 Tudor in Tulare, CA last year. The owner knew nothing about it as he had taken it on trade. If anyone recognizes it please let me know. I saw it listed for sale online and it had shabby 16" wheels at that time. I called the guy who had it previously listed for sale and he was less than helpful.

Good Morning Chris...You might also contact all of the Model 'A' Clubs for a 100 miles or so of where you purchased the car. I'll be someone will know about it. Check with both national clubs to obtain names and phone numbers...In California, can you obtain a registration history for a price? Good Luck...I can trace our 1931 Tudor back to 1978 and a man named Arthur Revier...and then the trail goes cold...A funny side note, the first time I took the head lights apart, Arthur's name was written on the inside of them...he must of had them re-done when he owned the car...GOOD LUCK

I don't know if the California DOT would cooperate with you to provide previous info on the registration of the car in California. Some states will and you can see if it came from another state. Hoping you have success.

I contacted the owner of record who had owned the car a couple years before. He was not helpful at all. Sadly the car is registered by a non Ford number stamped on the block.

I found an old insurance certificate cate from the 70s in mine from New York state. When I searched for the owner it showed him deceased so I couldn't get any more info either. Would love to get the history.

Guess it's time to start your own history to go to the next buyer.

May be a long shot, but you could check the MAFFI registry and see if you have any luck.
