Default Ignition Switch

My car currently just has a toggle switch in place of the key. I purchased the on/off plate, switch plate ring and the re-pop switch and cable. What else do I need to convert this? I have the Les Andrews book, but left out at work over the long weekend.

Thanks!

You said you have a pop-out switch and cable to install. Before installing it you should check out the ignition wiring against the original wiring diagram before you doing it.

This is what I got, along with the on/off plate and the ring to hold that in place.

ahh good! yea those cheapo switches are way more hassle than thier worth...

its still a basic on off switch so dont let that confuse you.

Id check your wiring from the diagram shown above as these cars can and have been wired any number of ways...
